About Lou
My wife, Val, and I do quite a bit of touring in the US and a little abroad, we are retired, and photography is a passion I have acquired in retirement.I belong to several camera clubs and have many awards from competitions they sponsor. Recently I have been asked to be a judge at these competitions.
I wish I could say that my images have been published but that is not the case. For the last fifteen years I have been concentrating on honing my photography skills as opposed to promoting myself and my photos.

When I go into a photo gallery or visit professional photographers' websites I am always comparing my work to theirs. I used to aspire to obtain images like theirs but now find myself critiquing and thinking my images are on par with theirs.
I do not wish to make photography a full time business but do hope to cover expenses and bring in additional income to more fully enjoy retirement.
Other hobbies include RVing and amateur radio. I have an Amateur Radio web business selling Amateur Radio products. See http://www.amateurradioproducts.com . My Amateur Radio Call sign is K9LU. I was licensed in 1957 and enjoy the may facets of the Amateur Radio hobby. When we are traveling you can locate our current GPS location via the Amateur Radio APRS system.
